Game of the Week

Life in Adventure

This week, we’re talking pixel art and choices... lots of choices! Life in Aventure is a unique proposal that almost creates its own gaming genre. It combines pixeled graphics - that will delight Minecraft lovers - with a very interesting touch of graphic novels, and that’s why we’ve crowned it as Game of the Week!

Life in Adventure is a text-based game, which is a bit of a rare genre but still one of our favorites. The writing style might sound familiar to you since we already enjoyed 'Life is a Game' by the same creator. As in most text-based games, the story will evolve one way or the other depending on the choices you make for your adventure. You'll create this character right off the game's start with many customization options - even its name! Once ready, you'll start facing quests to complete a very engaging storyline. Most of them feel like side quests since they do not create a cohesive narrative and can be skipped in accordance to the choices you make. This is one of those games in which you'll not only be enjoying the story; you'll be creating it.

Something that really makes Life in Adventure a very unique text-based game is battling. You’ll be rolling the dice to obtain the number that will determine your possibilities of success in the battle. And that’s all! You can then sit and enjoy the action taking place in front of your eyes. We find that the pixel art that comes with Life in Adventure truly matches the idea of the simplicity of this game. At the end of the day, we’re talking about a title that requires you to sit comfortably, read, think, and decide.

For many Android gamers, text-based titles are an unknown territory, and we believe that’s a great reason for you to download Life in Adventure and give it a try. Don’t forget to let us know what you think on our social media channels!
